The Putnam County Historical Society and the Putnam County Genealogical Society are pleased to host the 2022 Putnam County Genealogy and History Expo. The Expo will take place on Saturday, February 19th, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Bronson-Mulholland House and the Putnam Historical Museum, 100 and 110 Madison Street, Palatka.

The Expo will feature individuals and organization representatives from throughout Putnam County sharing their knowledge and expertise with you on a variety of subjects including genealogy research, glimpses of local history, living history demonstrations, local authors, music, and storytelling.

There will be a raffle for an Ancestry DNA kit. The first ticket is free with additional tickets for only $1.00 each. This DNA kit will provide you with an ethnicity estimate, ancestor migration data, and DNA matches.

Precautions for exposure to Covid-19 and variants are recommended for attendees including the use of face masks, social distancing, and frequent hand washing. Disposable masks and hand sanitizer will be available on site.

Whether you are exploring local history, researching your ancestry for the first time, or have years of experience, we know you will enjoy this event. Parking and attendance are free. Bottled water and snacks are also available at no cost.
